Vendor / Sponsor Information 

The South Dakota Emergency Management Association’s Annual Conference will take place in Oacoma, SD on September 9-12, 2023 at Cedar Shore Resort

  • Sept 9 & 10 Pre-Conference Training
  • Sept 11 & 12 Conference Sessions, Vendor Area is available. 

VENDORS: 

VENDOR AREA IS OPEN: WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 11, 8am-5pm - THURSDAY, SEPT. 12, 8am-4pm

The Conference officially begins at 8am on Wednesday. Vendors can set up the afternoon/evening of Sept. 10th or on Wednesday morning the 11th.

VENDOR FEE:

  • $150, includes one 8 ft table (or space for a table) with a tablecloth and two chairs.
  • Additional space is available for $50. 
  • DAYS: You can choose to be present for one or both days, however the fee is the same. Please indicate on your registration form which days you will be present.

SPONSORS: 

The SDEMA conference would not be possible without the help of our business sponsors to offset the cost of putting on a professional conference. We have several different levels of sponsoring available.

BRONZE LEVEL SPONSOR: $300 
With your BRONZE LEVEL sponsorship, we will select an area to apply your sponsor contribution. Your organization name will be notated in the conference agenda and shown in media between sessions. 

BREAK SPONSOR*: $500
A light snack is offered in the morning and afternoon breaks. With your break sponsorship, your organization name will be notated in the conference agenda, verbally recognized at the start of the break and by a sign with your logo at the refreshment table and shown on screen media between sessions.
*Included with your sponsorship is a spot in the vendor area for no extra cost. Please indicate if you will be coming as a vendor.

LUNCH SPONSOR *: $1500
With your lunch sponsorship, your organization name will be notated in the conference agenda, verbally recognized at the start of the lunch and by a sign with your logo during lunch along with being shown in media between sessions. Opportunity to also present to the group a short 15-20 presentation the last half of the lunch hour.
*Included with your sponsorship is a spot in the vendor area for no extra cost. Please indicate if you will be attending as a vendor.

MIXER SPONSOR*: $1500 (sponsor filled)
On Tuesday, following the pre-conference sessions, there is an opportunity to sponsor a WELCOME MIXER beginning at 5:15pm (or later if desired). This option gives you direct access to conference attendees. Powerpoint is available during the hour if desired. With your WELCOME MIXER sponsorship, your name will be notated in the conference agenda, by a sign with your logo at the mixer and shown on screen media between sessions.

    AWARDS BANQUET RECEPTION SPONSOR*: $1000
    On Wednesday evening, September 14, prior to the Awards Banquet we offer a social hour that typically includes 2 drink tickets for each banquet attendee. With your 
    hour sponsorship, your name/logo will be notated in the conference agenda, recognized verbally at the banquet, by a sign with your logo at the beverage station and shown on screen media between sessions
    *Included with your sponsorship is a spot in the vendor area for no extra cost.

    BANQUET SPONSOR *: $3000
    On Wednesday evening following the social hour, a dinner is provided to attendees at the awards banquet. As a banquet sponsor, your organization will be notated in the conference agenda, recognized in the banquet program with your logo, verbally at the banquet and shown on screen media between sessions.  Opportunity to also present to the group a short 15-20 presentation before the banquet begins.
    *Often times we have more than one sponsor in smaller dollar increments for the banquet. If your sponsorship is at least $500 you also have the option to have a spot in the vendor area for no extra cost.

    BANQUET ENTERTAINMENT SPONSOR *: $3500
    On Wednesday evening following the formal banquet dinner and awards is an opportunity to sponsor entertainment. As a banquet sponsor, your organization will be notated in the conference agenda, recognized in the banquet program with your logo, verbally at the banquet and shown on screen media between sessions.  Opportunity to also present to the group a short 15-20 presentation before the banquet entertainment.
    *Often times we have more than one sponsor in smaller dollar increments for the banquet. If your sponsorship is at least $500 you also have the option to have a spot in the vendor area for no extra cost.

    CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP:

    Corporate Membership is available to a partner agency or affiliated organizations for a cost of $75. (up to 3 individuals) Vendors are encouraged, but not required to become members.
